On April 15th, 2026, the spring edition of our celebrated CASA Day took place. We gathered at the Academisch Genootschap, a familiar venue for many of our CASA colleagues, for a day filled with a variety of interesting scientific talks and engaging workshops.
The program began with presentations from the groups of Luc Florack and Andrea Fuster, followed by Marieke Kranenburg’s workshop on Project Beethoven. After a well-deserved lunch break, the afternoon continued with presentations from the Computational Optics group, led by Martijn Anthonissen. To conclude the academic program, participants could choose between two interactive workshops: a TikZ workshop hosted by Bart Smets, or a Math Olympiad workshop led by Koondi Mitra. We wrapped up this packed and enjoyable day with dinner and drinks together. Another fantastic CASA Day has come to an end. Many thanks to everyone who contributed through workshops and presentations, and of course to all attendees for making the day a success!
