Hello everyone, my name is Sarah. I joined CASA as a PhD student in the Computational Illumination Optics group on October 1st. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Hasselt University and completed my Master’s here at TU/e, where my thesis focused on developing a mathematical model for a two-dimensional lens–reflector system. In my free time I enjoy spending time outdoors walking or cycling, as well as playing board games, reading, and crocheting.
