Hi everyone! My name is Fangna Xiang. I am from Zhejiang University, China. I joined CASA as a visiting PhD student on March 15th 2026. I will be staying here for one year, working under the supervision of Professor Arris Tijsseling. I earned a Bachelor degree in Process Equipment and Control Engineering from Zhejiang University. During my time here, I aim to deepen my research on the fluid-structure interaction of phase-change water hammer in complex pipeline systems. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, running, and playing badminton. I challenge myself every year by participating in half-marathons and trail running races.
